My biggest pet peeve for recipe blogs is that it takes 7.7 days to scroll down to the bottom of the page in order to get to the actual recipe. I hate that and I vow never to do that with this blog because let's get real - the reason most of you are here is to find something delicious to make.
The most you'll have to read is a couple of paragraphs at the beginning that will (hopefully) hype up the recipe. If I do have some life-changing, 5 page story about how I trekked through the jungle to get a vanilla bean or how my dog started speaking English after eating one of my cookies, I'll put that at the end of the post. You can read that part later while you're eating the food you just made. I promise.

I will also answer some of my most frequently asked baking questions. Like I said before, I am nowhere near a professional, so these are things I've found (through trial and error) that work best for me and my kitchen. Let me know if you have any questions as well. If I don't know the answer, I'll try my best to figure it out for you!

Finally, who doesn't secretly want to be a critic - plus I already am that weirdo who likes to take pictures of their food at restaurants, so why not? Here I'll do my best to give you fair, candid reviews of restaurants, bottles of wine, cooking utensils - you name it - and I'll provide links wherever necessary. If there's a place you think I should try, please let me know and I'll put it on my list!

SARAH
Foodie, Veteran, Dog Mom, Bourbon Lover, Bacon Connoisseur
What's your stress relief? Mine is making and sharing food. With a mom who instilled in me a love of baking at a young age and a dad who is a self-proclaimed "grill master," the kitchen is where I feel most at home. And while a majority of this blog centers on baking, I'll be adding other little bacon bits of foodie discoveries along the way. Thanks for coming along with me on this adventure!
