Boozy Elvis Milkshake

Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey.

Game. Changer.

I'm a big fan of alcoholic desserts. It's also no surprise to anyone that I'm also a big fan of bacon, so any excuse to pair the two, I'm in. Elvis Presley reportedly was a big fan of peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwiches. I've made these sandwiches before and I tell you what, the man was onto something. So I decided to bring those flavors into a milkshake that incorporated peanut butter whiskey. Grab the thick straws or a spoon to enjoy every last drop of the King of Milkshakes inspired by the King of Rock and Roll!

Servings: 2 Milkshakes

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 oz Peanut Butter Whiskey

  • 2/3 cup peanut butter

  • 4 bananas - 3 frozen, 1 not frozen to use as garnish

  • 12 slices of bacon

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cook the bacon and pat dry with a paper towel to remove as much excess grease as possible. Save a couple slices to use as garnish and set aside. Chop up the rest of the bacon into small pieces. Place the bacon in the refrigerator until ready to assemble the shake.

  2. If you're boujie like me and are all about the Instagram-ability of what you're making, you can line the rim of your glasses with peanut butter and roll the rims in the chopped bacon and some banana slices. I like to slice half a banana long ways to garnish the shake later as well. Place the decorated glasses in the refrigerator until the shake is ready to be poured into them.

  3. Place the peeled, frozen bananas, peanut butter, peanut butter whiskey, ice cream, and the chopped bacon in the blender and pulse until all combined. If you don't like your shakes on the thicker side, you can add milk to the mixture to thin it out.

  4. Pour the blended mixture into the prepped glases, garnish with the whole slices of bacon and banana, and enjoy!
