This is made completely of basic pantry ingredients and can be whipped up in about 45 minutes! I made this for breakfast when my mom and awesome aunt came to visit for a few days. I still had to go to work, but I wanted them to have something to break into when they woke up. When baking, the entire house was filled with a warm, sweet smell. The cake itself is just a basic light cake with a cinnamon and brown sugar topping, and I added a powdered sugar vanilla icing to add that cinnamon roll vibe.

Prep Time: 20 min
Total Time: 50 min
INGREDIENTS:
For the cake...
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
4 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 1/2 cups milk
For the topping...
1 cup butter, melted
2 Tbsp flour
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp cinnamon
For the glaze...
2 cups powdered sugar
5 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Mix all the cake ingredients together in a large bowl until combined. Pour into prepared pan and spread to the edges and into the corners.
For the topping, mix all the topping ingredients together in a small bowl and spread the mixture over the top of the cake mixture. Swirl with a knife to create a marble effect.
Bake for 30 minutes.
For the glaze, mix all glaze ingredients together. If it seems too thick, add a little more milk. If too thin, add a little more powdered sugar.
While the cake is still warm, drizzle the glaze over the cake and allow to set for 5 minutes before serving.
