If you have ever been to New Orleans, you have been to one of my favorite food cities! Obviously one of the most ICONIC treats from this city are their beignets! Puffy little clouds of fried dough dusted with powdered sugar make every day better! Also, they're the easiest to make - all you need are 3 ingredients if you use store bought puff pastry dough.
These make a great little breakfast, snack, or even dessert. Pour yourself a hot cup of coffee to go with the beignets and you'll swear you're on the terrace at Cafe Du Monde!
