I started making these in college when I had no money and a very fast metabolism. I re-made these about a year ago when Cole moved in for a quick lunch and I have been tasked to make these more often. Cheezy, buttery carbs? I don't see an issue with this...
These are great for game nights, after school snacks, tailgates, and lonely movie nights with a bottle of wine or two.
Servings: 8
Prep Time: 5 min
Total Time: 20 min
INGREDIENTS:
1 can of croissant dough
1 package of pepperoni
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a cookie sheet with a silicon baking mat or parchment paper.
Separate the croissant dough. On the widest end of each piece, place 4 pepperoni and 1/4 cup of cheese. Roll up the croissants with the pepperoni and cheese inside and evenly space the croissants on the prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for 13 minutes.
Mix the butter and garlic powder. When the croissants come out of the oven, baste the tops of each croissant with the butter. Eat warm while the cheese is still melty!
